REGALOS NAVIDEÑOS HECHOS A MANO- HANDMADE CHRISTMAS GIFTS

Hola amig@s!!

Como vengo haciendo hace algunos años, hice regalitos para mi familia y amigas. Me hace ilusión el proceso de planificar, hacer los patrones, elegir las telas, cortar, coser y bordar. ¡Y por supuesto ver las caras de sorpresa al recibirlos!

Esta vez usé técnicas como el bordado, la costura creativa y el appliqué. Combinar y mezclar técnicas me encanta y me parece muy creativo, siempre aparecen distintas formas de utilización.

Hice unas etiquetas con lápices acuarelables sobre algodón teñido con té y motivos navideños,  aunque escribí frases motivadoras y optimistas como dedicatoria.  La técnica de la acuarela textil da muchas posibilidades. Ya os enseñaré un pequeño quilt donde la base es esta técnica,  que combiné con bordado. Haré otra entrada para este proyecto.

Como es mi costumbre, tengo varios frentes abiertos que poco a poco iré terminando.

As I have been doing for a few years, I made little gifts for my family and friends. I´m excited about the process of planning, making patterns, choosing fabrics, cutting, sewing and embroidering. And of course seeing the surprised faces when they receiving them!

This time I used techniques such as embroidery, creative sewing and appliqué. I love  mixing techniques,  I find it very creative, there are always different forms of use these techniques.

I made some tags with watercolor pencils onto cotton fabric dyed with tea and Christmas draws, although I wrote motivating and optimistic phrases as a dedication. The textile watercolor technique gives many possibilities. I'll show you a little quilt where the base is this technique, which I combined with embroidery. I´ll make another post for this project.
